Current Transformer

A current transformer is an instrument transformer used for measuring large currents and is also known as a CT.
There are two main types: the inexpensive through-type, and the split-type, which is easy to install on existing lines.
Generally, the secondary side of a current transformer outputs AC 1A or AC 5A, but we also offer models with secondary sides that output a few mA or mV, designed specifically for use with certain manufacturers’ measuring instruments.
