Burnout

Burnout refers to forcing the output to its maximum or minimum limit when there is no input signal.
For example, in temperature control processes, if a thermocouple sensor breaks and produces no input, the system may incorrectly interpret this as a temperature drop and activate heating control.
With the burnout function (upscale), the output sends a maximum temperature signal, which helps prevent erroneous heating control and makes it easier for the system to detect abnormalities.
