Reactive Power

Reactive power refers to the portion of the power supplied to an AC device (apparent power) that is not effectively used by the load and is returned to the power source.
The unit is Var (volt-ampere reactive), and reactive power Q can be calculated using the formula Q = Voltage (E) × Current (I) × Reactive factor (sinφ).
