Load Cell

A load cell is a sensor designed to measure weight and is also known as a strain gauge.
It consists of a bridge circuit made from resistors and outputs a voltage corresponding to the applied load.
One of its features is being able to measure very heavy weights. Load cells are used in truck scales for weighing trucks and dump trucks at highway entrances and factory gates.
