True RMS

For AC signals, this refers to the value obtained by taking the square root of the average of the squares.
In AC, current and voltage are represented by the “RMS value,” which is especially useful for measuring AC signals containing distortion components such as harmonics.
In English, it is referred to as RMS (Root Mean Square).
