CT

CT stands for Current Transformer, which is synonymous with “current transformer” in Japanese. It is an instrument transformer used to measure large currents.
CTs are classified into two types: the cost-effective through-type and the split-core type, which is easy to install on existing wiring.
Generally, the secondary side of a CT provides AC 1A or AC 5A output, but we also offer dedicated CTs (for measuring instruments) with secondary outputs of only a few mA or a few mV.
