A subtractor is a converter that subtracts signal B from signal A. Coefficients (10–100%) can be applied to each signal.
For example, it is used to subtract the inflow and outflow signals of a tank and send the result to a controller, which then controls a valve to maintain the required fluid volume inside the tank.
It is also used for calculations involving temperature differences, speed differences, and similar applications.
