A multiplier is a converter that multiplies (performs multiplication on) Signal A and Signal B. A coefficient (10–100%) can be applied to each signal.
For example, by inputting signals corresponding to current and voltage, the multiplier can be used to calculate DC power, making it useful for measuring the generated output of renewable energy sources.
It can also be used for applications such as temperature compensation of viscosity or density.
