Corporate History

November, 1940	Ryuzo Watanabe the founder established the company in Meguro-ku, Tokyo
May, 1946	Moved to the current location (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo)
June, 1948	Established Watanabe Electric Instruments Works Limited Partnership
July, 1951	Changed the company name to Watanabe Electric Industry Co. Ltd., and Ryuzo Watanabe became the Representative Director & President
June, 1954	Passed the examination of the 1st Japanese Industrial Standard accompanying its establishment by the Industrial Standardization Law. Release the "Non-contact Meter Relay"
March, 1962	Received the Excellent Factory Award from the Governor of Tokyo
